haircuts and surgery #16 1/2

the count down is on for owen's redo surgery. i feel a lot more calm this time. just knowing how well he did going into it last time and also because it still may not happen again if we have the same issue with his heart.....i guess we will see.



so here's what you all have been waiting for :-) we cut noah's hair on friday!!!! first two pics are the most recent before pics and then the afters. nick absolutely loves it. i'm still sad to see the long hair gone but getting used to it.

cute words from owen to make you laugh. today at sam's club he had a sample of dole frozen strawberries (strawberries are his fav fruit) when he was done he said " mmm mmm those were good. can i be a greedy cat and have some more?" he is such a nut!!!!! lol

nothing too exciting has been going on at hughes household until this weekend which is livi 6th b-day weekend. i can't believe my little baby girl is 6 years old. her party is this afternoon at 4pm so i will post pics later this week. we had a great easter last weekend. adaira stayed with us so the Easter bunny brought her a basket here as well. over the past few weeks i have been starting to really notice that noah is quickly approaching the same weight and height as owen. and i'm seeing owen get very frustrated with it because noah can completely take him down to the floor. owen being such a great big brother just lays there and yells for me to come help him get noah off of him because he doesn't want to hurt him or gets isn't strong enough ;-)

something cute owen said to make you smile: this morning we went to eat breakfast at our favorite "first watch" and when leaving nick said i'm so stuffed and then owen said "yeah, i'm stuffed like a chicken!!"
